URBAN EDITIONS publishes fun and engaging books and games that get people together around architecture, urbanism, and social concerns. This initiative was developed for community urban projects by Frame Colectivo, a studio for Architecture, Research and Art.

We develop DIY and pocket games, following the tradition of spontaneity. The Latin term “jocu” meant creative fun and learning by doing. Games are passed on as recreational occupations that allow us to learn through and master human interaction. We keep in mind that playing, in its deepest form, is a serious subject, and urban is the context we share. We want to promote human interactions that embrace healthy challenges and make us grow.
